Hey, hybrid8, instead of just bitching about how this doesn't help you and then reposting your comment, take a couple seconds and think that maybe not every product out there is designed to target you.

Personally, I'm thrilled at the idea of a heated mouse. My hands are always freezing, so in the middle of winter, this would be amazingly wonderful to have. That's about the only good thing I could say about my old laptop that used to overheat: the exhaust was on the right side, so it would blow hot air right over my mousing hand. MUCH better than freezing fingers.

Megan Trigg

It's always interesting to watch people repost when they don't see it go up immediately. I like how the wording changes ever-so-slightly.

Geisrud

I really suggest these guys do some real-world research. I suspect most people have a problem with overheating and sweating while using a mouse, so a heater is not only potentially worthles, it will actually make the situation worse.

Of course making a chiller mouse of an air-cooled mouse is a lot harder than putting a 1 cent heater coil (which just need to short a circuit with a resistor).

It's bad enough one company makes this product, but to see a new version on the same flawed theme come out each week is a little sad.

But not as sad as the ol'Giz considering it "news" and including a post for it. We need a "bury story" feature.
